I'm feeling lost. I'm Canadian, and I created a seller account on Amazon.ca yesterday (May 14) to explore the platform and possibly start selling. I received an email confirming that my account was approved. However, I then noticed that I was also pending approval for multiple marketplaces worldwide. Since I didn’t want to be charged multiple professional fees, I decided it was too much for me and chose to terminate my account in the North American marketplace.
But I later realized that I had only terminated my North American account, and I was still pending approval in other marketplaces. I have now been accepted in Australia, which is why I can post here. Since my North American account is terminated, I can’t contact support there. I would like a refund for my professional fees, as I did not use the account or list any products—it’s less than a day old.
Additionally, I want to close my accounts in all other marketplaces. My account is still pending in Egypt, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom, but I don’t want that. I definitely don’t want to be charged another $40 fee for each of these marketplaces.
EDIT: I think I finally managed to cancel the pending approvals for other marketplaces. In the Australian one, I immediately switched to an individual plan to avoid being charged.
My remaining question is: How can I request a refund for the North American market if my account has already been terminated and I no longer have access to Seller Central?
