We’re a small, brand-registered business selling a premium sleep aid product called Snoozify™ on Amazon Australia.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been dealing with a nightmare:

An unauthorized Chinese seller (changshashichuanshanshangmaoyouxiangongsi) hijacked our listing (ASIN: B0DLBFTC4T) and has been selling a counterfeit version of our product — no branding, no packaging, terrible quality.

We bought it ourselves and confirmed it was fake. We’ve submitted:

A test-buy report

Trademark documentation

Multiple infringement reports through Brand Registry

And still… Amazon hasn’t removed them.

Instead, we keep receiving automated replies while the counterfeit seller stays live, profiting from our work.

What hurts the most is that our loyal customers — people who love our product — are now receiving these fakes. They're messaging us on social media, confused and disappointed, asking if they ordered the wrong item or if we changed the formula. Some have even left bad reviews that weren’t our fault.

We’ve spent months building trust, quality, and reputation. And in just a few weeks, it’s been chipped away — while Amazon does nothing.

We’re exhausted. We’ve done everything right as a brand:

✅ Trademarked

✅ Brand Registered

✅ Provided proof

✅ Reached out the proper way

Still, no one at Amazon seems to be taking this seriously. And we’ve seen other brands affected by the same seller too.

We’re asking:

Why is a known counterfeiter allowed to keep selling under our brand?

Why isn’t Brand Registry taking urgent action when evidence is clear?

How many small businesses have to be hurt before Amazon steps in?

If you’re a seller who’s experienced something similar, or if you’ve had success escalating past this point — please share. Because right now, it feels like Amazon is protecting counterfeiters more than the real brands.

We just want to protect our customers and our product. Nothing more.

Brand registration rejected due to invoices issues
by Seller_rIP0tI0g2kbyy
Amazon replied

Hello,

Recently my Amazon Brand Registry application has been rejected. The reason for it was the “Invoice” i provided was missing, incomplete or did not satisfy the requirements to confirm brand association or ownership. i have tried my best to provide Amazon with an up-to-date PI Invoice from my manufacturer with sensitive data like pricing details hidden, yet this invoice was still not satisfactory according to Amazon. I am unsure what to do next and looking for some advice from the community on how i should proceed next. What is considered a "Valid" invoice for Amazon?

Thanks

Selling Applications kept getting Rejected
by Seller_ow1umj0LSLXRQ

Good day, Amazon Seller Support Team,

I am submitting an application to sell branded products. I own an active brick-and-mortar business that works directly with this brand. I have provided all requested documentation—including invoices and proof of our partnership—but I keep receiving notices that my documents are “insufficient” or “unauthentic.”

Could you please clarify what additional information is required or advise on the exact documentation you need?

All of my invoices meet the requirements outlined in your guidelines.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi everyone,

I'm feeling quite frustrated and confused. One of my listings was recently removed by Amazon due to a performance violation labeled as "image copyright misuse." However, I was not selling the toy shown in the image — I was selling a protective case specifically designed for that toy.

To clarify, I only used the toy in the images as a display example to demonstrate how the case fits and looks when in use. I didn’t claim to sell the toy itself, and to further avoid any misunderstanding, I even blurred the toy’s face in the product images. Despite these efforts, my listing was still removed and I received a performance strike.

What’s worse is that there's no clear appeal option available for this type of violation. I’m selling a completely original accessory, and the toy is used only to show compatibility and sizing.

Has anyone dealt with this before? How can I appeal or get Amazon to review this situation properly?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

My picture has not been modified, and my brand name is permanently left on the product through embroidery, but why did the brand team still reject my request? Besides, I have also provided pictures of products from various angles and hand-held.But I got the same reply:The product images you provided do not display the label permanently affixed to the product or its packaging. The submitted pictures will be used solely for the purpose of reviewing your application, and customers will not have access to them. Is there an official who can give me an explanation?

My brand application failed because Amazon says:

“We are unable to approve your Brand Registry application because there is no representative or correspondent contact information listed on the trademark record. We recommend contacting the trademark representative or correspondent listed on the trademark record to ensure contact information is up to date and publicly available.”

My trademark is registered under my name through IP Australia, and I’ve provided my correct contact details including email when I filed it.

However, I did not receive any verification email or code from Amazon.

The issue is: IP Australia does not publicly display trademark owner contact information, and there’s currently no option to make it visible to third parties.

Has anyone successfully registered a brand on Amazon Australia using a trademark from IP Australia?

Any suggestions or workarounds would be really appreciated!

Hijacked Listings
by Seller_yxFDzAyKSanCC
Amazon replied

Hey everyone,

The last 2 months i keep getting fake sellers saying they are selling my brand which is impossible as it's my own brand and i have brand registery. I am the only seller of this brands. I need to keep complaining to amazon and messaging the fake sellers to remove my listing or face legal action and they finally remove it and apologise.

Is there a way i can prevent this from happening? Starting to go a little crazy with it and amazon usually takes awhile to resolve it and it's damaging business.

Thanks

Amazon will not even look at our appeal.

Amazon have asked us to submit information, which we did.

Then they said we didn't reply so they close the appeal.

Then we contacted seller support which advised to reply to the case from the case log.

Then we have replied to the case showing a proof that we submitted the reply on time.

Amzon did not ask us to re-submit our reply with attachments but replied to us -

Your appeal request for case ID [2994421383] has been declined.
