Account activation issue
Hi, I am experiencing an issue with my amazon US account where it has been deactivated until I provide a utility bill. I have gone through many forums and spent most my afternoon going back and forth. The utility bill I have Is my mobile phone, it is in my name and has my address, as well being printed and scanned and meeting the whole list of the requirements amazon have sent.
However, I have submitted it over and over again but they keep rejecting and the only reason they provide is that 'we were unable to verify the documents you provided'.
I need this account to be cleared so my main amazon UK account can continue, as that is also now deactivated as a result of this.
I have tried too reach out too support, but since the account is deactivated I get an automated messaging saying this is not the correct channel for support. If I can't Id rather have this US account closed so I can at least continue business on my UK account. Please help.

Mobile phones are not usually accepted, at least not for US accounts (even though they maybe on the list) . Send another utility bill....
A mobile phone isn't really proof of address, as you can have that bill sent anywhere...

I am 19 years old, and living with parents that's the only utility bill I have. Would I be able too close the US account so my UK account can at least become active again?

No, you cannot close an account that is not in good standing. Opening another account will get both suspended. Ask your parent to add you to one of their utility bills. The only other option is a utility bill in their name, along with his/or her passport (whoever's name is on the bill) and your birth certificate.
If you came here to sell anything you do not own a brand for, or purchase from a brand approved, B2B only, wholesale distributor, or from the brand direct with a RETAILER account
AND
Have a written LOA authorizing you to resell ON AMAZON, from any brand you plan on selling.....
you might as well not try to get into your account, it will be a costly mistake.
One way or another you need to check your notifications and finish activating your account so you can downgrade to individual and wont be charged anymore until you understand how things work here.

I do have complete understanding of it, and will speak to my parents to be added onto their bill. I plan on starting with Retail/Online arbitrage that I was doing on my UK account till it was closed, until I have some revenue to setup my own brand sell my own things on here.

I am already registered as a sole proprietor and have all relevant documents for the UK, the US account was simply me figuring out how one can move into the US, did not matter me until it effected my UK account

Was the bill you're trying to provide the same bill used to complete your UK account registration? If so, the first question I would have is if you've added all required information into your US account so the documents can be verifiable.
I would suggest reviewing your account information section in your US store. From here if there is any "required" information, it should be marked in red. I would also suggest clicking into your information to confirm that all attributes in your account 100% match the spelling or abbreviation used on the utility bill.
Once you have confirmed everything matches, please review our seller identity verification help page to make sure the utility bill provided itself meets our requirements.

As mentioned by @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI, although we do list them as an accepted document. We require that they not be pre-paid phone plans. As they recommended, if you are still not successful, getting one of the other bills in your name will help verify you and your address.

No, you cannot close an account that is not in good standing. Opening another account will get both suspended.
As @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI also advised, typically when an account is deactivated you will be required to resolve the situation prior to being eligible for closure. You can see more on this in our close your account policy page.
Also since the US account situation has caused the deactivation of your UK account, this was caused by our multiple accounts policy found in our code of conduct. As mentioned in this policy:
- You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.
Once you are successful in reactivating your US account, you can navigate back to your UK store and acknowledge the reactivation of that store. This will prompt the review for compliance and reactivation.
