lost buy box again (4th time this year)

I have lost the buy box again. 4th time this year. Selling since 2004, 100% positive lifetime feedback. I ship all of my books the day after order. Would someone please look into this for me. Thanks

It is like the old Clairol TV add used to say, "Only your hair dresser knows for sure". Now just replace the hair dresser with Amazon. Forget the Buy Box and concentrate on finding new products to sell.

The Buy Box is not a right or a given. It is run by an Algorithm Bot that giveth and taketh away. Sellers seem to enjoy it when they have it, and then complain when they do not. But when a seller is disappointed with the loss of the Box, they seem to forget, another seller is happy with that loss, because it is their gain.

I have also seen this more and more. The book market has never been more saturated and almost all titles under a 2,000,000 sales rank are covered by at least one and usually multiple FBA sellers. That is why FBM sellers get less and less of the pie. One day I am sure Amazon will make FBA a requirement.

There is no more "buy box". Along with the "inform act" F-U some 3P sellers are still having problems with due to the incompetence of Amazon, they decided to rename the "buy box" to "featured offer" and restart every one from square 1.

And while I'm ranting Amazon still - 1 month after their 7-week delayed roll out of USPS Ground Advantage (debuted by the Post Office on July 9 but not offered by Amazon until August 23) Amazon still has not fixed the label orientation that no other shipping service had. Lucky they still "offer" First Class so I can print label without jumping through hoops.

Thank you all for taking the time and giving me suggestions in order for me to win back the buy box. I have been selling books on Amazon for 20 years. Twenty years ago it was much easier to resolve a problem. Now it takes time. I am patiently waiting for a reply from Amazon.

Yes, we are in the same boat. We have been selling here for more than 10 years, with excellent performance metrics. Still we have lost BBE on the whole account, not on any single ASIN.

the odr is 0%,the shipment metics are great, the customer voice is great, the feedback is 99%.

Bostonrrrs here - still no reply from amazon. Cannot create a case log. The form is only for one item which I am informed that I am not eligible for the featured offer. How can that be when I meet all of Amazon's requirements to have the featured offer. So being unable to create a case log then directing me to speak to an associate who is going to tell me she/he does not have authority to answer my call - this is a CATCH 22 situation. Doesn't amazon care about their long time excellent sellers? An Amazon EXECUTIVE told me that my account was IMPRESSIVE. I guess not IMPRESSIVE enough.
