Can I close my Amazon UK account without affecting my US account?
I have a Brazilian company that sells products on Amazon in the USA, and today we received an email asking us to verify the listings that comply with export legislation to the UK. In this case, we don't work with sales for Amazon UK, and to avoid having to deal with the bureaucracy that an active account requires, I want to know if I can deactivate it without affecting my American account in any way.
Also, is it possible to delete the Japan and Australia accounts without affecting the USA account?
Below are screenshots of the emails I received.

Hi @Seller_16uaocOJpCSLY
Connor from Amazon here, thank you for reaching out. With a North America and Brazil Unified Account, you can conveniently switch between Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.com.mx, and Amazon.com.br seller tools in Seller Central to list products and manage orders in all stores.
If you do not wish to sell in a certain store, you can delete any active listings and remove inventory in that store.
In your situation, I suggest that you put marketplaces you don't want to sell into vacation mode.
North America and Brazil Unified Account FAQ.
Please let me know if there are any other questions.
Thanks,
Connor
