Brand Authorization
Hello guys,
I have been in talks with a brand for the past few days for a Letter of Authorization to sell their products on Amazon. But they refused to work with me. They told me "they are selling themself", but I don't see the brand selling itself. Instead, some 3rd-party sellers are selling their products. (Wholesale Model)
I found their authorized distributors located in the USA. Can I go ahead and sell that brand's product sourcing from that supplier? What if the brand makes an IP complaint? Will my invoice from distributors be able to protect me from their IP?

"they refused to work with me.
Can I go ahead and sell that brand's product sourcing from that supplier?"
This is very risky.
"Will my invoice from distributors be able to protect me from their IP?"
No. The brand owner can at any time ask Amazon to take your product down. And Amazon will suspend your account after an IP complaint.
