How Chinese sellers get away with fake branding and fake items?

He just made up a brand which is``Kiaetvreo`` and photoshopped all of the photos and removed the original brands and listed the items under his so called brand. All his listings are same but he forgot to remove the brand from some;

Can someone explain me how this is possible while Amazon uses AI and even understand the brands from the product photos?

It is a very upsetting situation. I had a crazy situation that you would never guess - I had a customer make a return to us of a legitimate purchase. Except what we got back was a copy of a brand name we sell. It didn't have the brand name on it, but it was a clear attempt to sell a duplicate of the item. The customer got confused and sent us back the copy. Inside the carton of the fake was a card, in poor English, that requests that the customer go to a website and "register" their purchase for the "warranty to be effective" and promises a $5 credit for a good review. That was inside the box! This is sold by a company "IHSUHqSOIwHS" (chinese) and shipped by Amazon. So Amazon enables this.

when you do your own testing its easy to get past those requirements. also, when the radar is on legitimate sellers sellnig actual real items to provide CPSC documentation that these manufacturers can walk down the street and get their buddy to provide the docs for, so that the real items get pulled for "safety" but then replaced with counterfeits. just look at pokemon plushes. all the real pokemon center ones are gone for counterfeits.
