Connecting Brand Registry to Seller Central

Hello!

We are trying to connect our brand registry to our seller central so we can use the features. We provided the merchant id and sent the invitation. When we receive the invite it is coming from a Canada account, not the US one which is what we need to be using. This is very confusing. We also find that when clicking on the link to the invite, it blocks us from viewing even though we have full administrative permissions. We also followed all of the instructions given by support but have not been able to connect anything yet. Our case id is: 15202251331.

Please help!

Hello @Seller_LdGQS4zTKBgYz,

Dougal here and I can certainly assist, thanks for providing the case ID.

I think I see what is going on... Your Brand Registry enrollment was done in one account and your Seller Central account is a different merchant token (Thanks for providing your Merchant token in the case you linked or I may not have found this).

2 ways forward, either log into the Brand Registry site with the same credentials you used to open the case you linked here (and to post here) and follow the instructions provided in the case or from the Manage selling roles and brand benefits Help page.

The other option, is from your Seller Central account, you can request Selling benefits from a brand. In your case, this would be you requesting access to yourself. This seems redundant, but there are 2 types of roles in Brand Registry and they are roles associated with Selling benefits (Seller Central) and roles associated with protection benefits (Brand Registry site). Instructions for this are in the Request access to brand selling benefits Seller University video.

I hope this helps to clarify. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best, Dougal
