Hi everyone,
I have two Seller Central accounts. The original account was restricted to sales in North America only, so I created a new account to sell the same ASIN in North America and Europe.
Currently, the original ASIN is suppressed because it is out of stock, and I’m worried about its impact on the new ASIN in other markets.
Can anyone help with the following?
- Impact of Suppressed ASIN: How does the suppression of the old ASIN affect the new ASIN listed on a different account?
- Data Preservation: If I remove the old listing, will I lose any important financial or performance data?
- Managing Multiple Accounts: What are best practices for handling multiple accounts with the same ASIN to avoid issues like search suppression?

I would be most concerned when you say that you are selling the SAME ASIN in two accounts.
You can have multiple accounts but they can not sell the same category or products.

I wonder if Amazon is going to hit you with total suspension as a result.
It sounds to me like pretty thin ice but I'm not Amazon.
If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…………....

As mentioned in the thread, you are allowed one selling account to operate for your business. If you have a second business, then you may have the ability to open a second account.
However, if the purpose is to get around the suppression of the ASIN or the inability to sell in the European market, then it would be considered a violation of our policy.

Have you attempted to update the stock to resolve the suppression? Is there a different issue associated that is causing it to be pulled down outside of the stock? Please provide more information regarding the specific issue that you are seeing with the ASIN.

If the account is in any kind of deactivated or suppressed status, you will not be able to take action to close it down. You would need to resolve the impacting issues to have this option.
