Amazon Charge For Returns

I understand that Amazon now collects a fee for returns from buyers. Evidently, this only applies when Amazon itself is suffering any loss on a return. Is that correct?

If that's true, why aren't third party sellers given the same treatment as Amazon? It hurts us more than it does Jeff.

Hello @Media- Thank you for this post and for commenting on this new announcement. This fee is currently only to be assessed if items are returned to a UPS store when there are other Amazon-owned returns locations closer to the buyer. This incentive might assist in streamlining that returns process a bit more and still does aim to leave buyers a number of free return options.

Kindest regards,
