Getting ungated
I noticed that becoming ungated for branded products is nearly impossible.
For 1, Amazon requires you to provide an invoice or proof of purchase when applying to become ungated. However we're having to take a risk in buying an inventory of products that may not get approved. All of the wholesalers I've contacted (which is many of them) will not provide a refund if we get denied. This can cause us a huge loss, by loosing all money invested & getting stuck with an inventory we cant sell.
Secondly, In an attempt to become an authorized seller & buy directly from the brands instead, I noticed all of their replies to be similar. Either they are not willing to open a business partnership with new & small businesses or require you to buy a ridiculous huge inventory.
My question is what are some tips or advise on how to become ungated?

All the "ungating" myths circulating in facebook groups are BS. Fortunately you posted here before buying 10 units of something Amazon would receive, confiscate and destroy.
If Amazon is "ungating" or "approving" you to sell a brand, that does NOT mean that you are allowed to sell it on Amazon! Difficult to understand but that is a fact.
So sell a brand with safety, you will need:
1. A "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.
2. INVOICE (not receipt) from an authorized distributor. An invoice is a document with your name and address, exactly how you registered it in your seller account under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address".

Get approval FROM THE BRAND before you start; that should make it easy.
That should be a pretty good clue that they do not want you selling their brand on Amazon.
You need to find a brand that WANTS you to sell their items on Amazon. That is unlikely to be any big name brand that everyone knows; you'll need to find something smaller.
The important thing to remember is that Amazon may very well ungate you on a brand, assuming that you have the rights to sell it. But if the brand then comes after you, there is a very good chance that you will see your account suspended, and your funds and any FBA inventory seized.
Get permission FROM THE BRAND.

Hi @PedrosaUnlimitedLLC,
Thanks for the post. To add onto the guidance of the other sellers on this thread, please note that if Amazon believes that a trademark is associated with a product that you are selling that is not approved by the brand for use in connection with that product, you may be asked to provide a Letter of Authorization from the relevant brand owner to show that you have permission to use their registered trademark.
Best regards,
