incorrect shipment sent by supplier
I was just informed that my supplier forgot to include a piece of my product but has already sent the product, and is in route to the FBA warehouse. I am still trying to figure out what to do other than request a refund and replace the order. Alibaba's supplier is giving me a hard time about this even though it is their mistake. Does anyone have any ideas or know if Amazon can discard an incoming shipment? Will Alibaba refund and replace it?

Issues like this is pretty common when you ship straight to amazon from china. In general alibaba won't do anything for you. Only you know what kind of contract you signed with them for the goods to know if they will do anything at all for you.
Amazon will dispose of the product but there are fees involved just like any other inventory removal.

And class, this is why it's a good idea to have the product shipped directly to you -- not to Amazon.
Can you redirect the shipment to you and then add the piece before sending to Amazon?
If at all possible, you do not want the shipment to get to Amazon. So many problems can occur and you'll be paying dearly for removal fees.
