I can't sell
Hi, I'm a new seller on Amazon. I'm very worried because I haven't managed to make any sales yet. Costs are being incurred and I can't sell. I also ran a PPC campaign but got no results. I've logged into Amazon as a buyer from another account, but I can't see my products listed....
The products are glass shot glasses.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

So, what makes your product different from the: over 8,000 results for "shot glasses"? Without sales and reviews, Amazon is not going to put you on the front page of the results. You need to look at what makes your product unique (if there is anything). Who is the target buyer? Where do they look for this type of item? Look at ways off-Amazon to bring buyers to your product ON Amazon.

FIRST, if you had been able to buy anything you would have been suspended almost immediately. That is a HUGE VIOLATION of sales manipulation. You should be able to SEE an item but should NEVER (if the system is working) be able to put an item in your account!
What is an ASIN so we can see if it shows up as active for others!

Not getting sales on Amazon is a common situation. Some questions may help determine some issues.
How much competition do you have? There was a post a year or two ago from a rookie wondering why his phone cases weren’t selling. Even a minor effort put into a search found there were over 10,000 OTHER sellers and many of them were ‘offshore’ and selling for a few cents and using FBA or the deeply discounted shipping costs that they get.
Did you do any test selling on OTHER (less expensive) sites to see if the products would actually sell?
Did you do any price elasticity testing on OTHER (less expensive) sites to see what prices the products would actually sell at?
On AMAZON, did you do any test selling doing FBM to see if the products would actually sell and determine what your costs would be BEFORE trying to do FBA?
On AMAZON, did you do any price elasticity testing to see what prices the products would actually sell at AGAIN before going to FBA?
As @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY notes, you have a LOT of competition. It's over 9,000 for shot glasses and still over 1000 when you filter down to 1 ounce glass shot glasses.
I don't sell on any listings (generally) if there are more than 6 or 8 for an individual item! Even for my 'generic' product category (the broad type like your shot glass) I only have about 3000 total.

Hello @Seller_wBeSH1FpznKX1,
I understand that you are having issues finding your product. Here is a help page that will be able you find your product. As your fellow sellers have stated, it will take time for your products to rank on the site as they are new.
I just created a post about keywords and how to use them effectively. I would recommend you check it out along with the post to title and image requirements posts towards the bottom of the page as well. I would also recommend reading the requirements around bullet points to ensure they are compliant as well. Another helpful resource you may also want to review, is our help page around optimizing your product discoverability.
When using FBA, I always recommend sending in only a few units until your sales pick up, then ship in what you know will sell through in 6 weeks and keep your numbers low enough so that you keep your FBA storage fees to a minimum.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions and know that I wish you the best in your sales.
Michelle
