If you choose to re-brand a product, please refer to Amazon Brand Name Policy page for minor Brand name changes. Any major Brand Name change requests are considered re-branding and will not be supported. To protect Customer trust and ensure catalog quality, we ask that you create a new ASIN for the new product.
You must not use an existing listing for a new version of a product. This includes changes in color, size, material, features, and product name. Instead, create a new product detail page for each new version. For example, a manufacturer updates its streaming media player by adding a new remote control with four buttons instead of two. This product is materially different from the older version and it must be listed as a new ASIN.

Hello @Seller_gfg8WNtayvLV3,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to provide a bit more info. Thank you for the case ID, I have reviewed the case and see that there is current correspondence up to about an hour ago and you are currently waiting on a response. As you have read in the earlier correspondence on your case and here@Seller_EkbLZUYSpmJEy provided everything I would have and included a link to the Product detail page rules.
My only addition is a link to the Amazon Brand Name policy. If you scroll down to the 2nd to last FAQ titled, "I’m unable to edit the ASIN brand name to correct a typo, capitalization, or legal abbreviation showing incorrectly on the Detail page," you will find the verbiage that @Seller_EkbLZUYSpmJEyprovided in their first paragraph.
I do understand that this is significant for you, my guidance remains that unfortunately new ASINs will need to be created when changing a brand name.
I hope at least the links to policy will provide better understanding as to why a brand name change will not be supported.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best, Dougal
