Amazon Seller sells on a lose due to Amazon's high fees
How could anyone possibly make a profit off this platform with all these fees designed to financially eat into the seller profit from every direction? I am losing and slaving away working for Amazon while they profit off me, I lose $3/product. Make this make sense.
They wipe you out with "long term storage fees" and take 42% for themselves (amazon selling fees) not even including the advertising costs and the monthly 40. There's a reason why they're a trillion-dollar company.
They also lost 100 units of my product and are asking me to send documents from my manufactuer even though its proven in their own system they lost my units, but asking me to get something just to give me the run around.

I can't. You're the one selling a product for which you cannot make a profit; YOU make it make sense. It makes no sense to me.
How do others survive? By picking products which can be sold for a profit, even after paying Amazon fees. If you're losing money on each sell, quit selling that item!

We dont make any profit we only continue as we are elimination of 30 year old business. All items we should be making making money on Amazon bots have identified and hit these listings with high pricing or removal of buy box making them unsellable unless you lower price to what Amazon wants. When selling on here always good to remeber we are only here to make JEFFss money so he can support his spaceships, rockets and to move to a tax haven state to save 100+ million a year on taxes.

Making good decisions and making frequent adjustments redirecting resources to high performing areas and away from low performing areas.
Loss is common in retail. Its pretty easy to make a case for reimbursement with Amazon. We have yet to be denied for warehouse lost or missing from inbound.
Only send it 45-90 days worth to manage low and long term storage.
They ask for invoices so they can quantify the loss. They need your COGS to reimburse you.
This is common in retail. If you had a physical store there would be rent, electric, labor, insurance, theft, returns, maintanence, equipment and displays, advertising, weather etc..

Thank you for posting this into Forums. We appreciate any and all candid feedback to help better this program. I wanted to also see if you had any additional questions or need some assistance with specific items?
I do see that our veteran sellers have done a good job providing their feedback and experience as well.
Please let me know how I can be of further assistance.

You have to calculate your cost of doing business and add your profit.

FBA is not for everyone. You need to do the math before deciding to FBA.

Yup. I thought I was the only one. This is the story of every other seller. and their support system is below minimum. Every support member has his own story to tell. Took them 4 months to resolve a small matter for me, and I lost all new seller incentives as well as paid monthly storage fee, which now has increased coz its 4 months old. lol

Use this website tool . I immediately make sure my FBA fees are 50%, then I enter in my COGS and just for fun, I add in another 10% on top of the fees and my COGS to make sure. If I am negative or less than 10% profit, I do not sell that product.
