Paid to Amazon | Seller repayment

Hi, I just created a new Amazon Seller Account. I have no product listed yet. But my credit card got charged $41.99 by Amazon. When I checked the transactions it show "Paid to Amazon | Seller repayment". And I have received an email as well saying that "We have charged your credit card for $41.99 in an attempt to settle your Amazon seller account balance. Note that the amount charged to your credit card may be less than the total amount you owe due to a credit limit imposed by your bank. If that is the case, we will continue to charge your card as often as every 24 hours until the remaining balance in your Amazon seller account is paid in full."

I am confused for that will I be charged every 24 hours? Can someone please explain these charges?

Did you ever have another account?

If you just signed up, could it be the professional monthly fee? But the wording sounds like you had another account that was in arears.

As @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 notes, it appears that you have an account already that owes/owed money.

If that is the case, your new seller account will probably be suspended shortly due to the linkage and having an account balance that hasn't been paid.

Any friends/lovers/haters that you shared a credit card with out there?
