Logo Design Question: Full Logo vs. Initials

Hi everyone! I’m launching my first product and having trouble with the logo placement. The full logo doesn’t look good on the sample, and I’m considering using just the first two letters instead. Has anyone else done this for a first product, and how did it work out?

Hi @Seller_sQUCOK7B2o2MN,

Thank you for your post, and congratulations on your first product launch!

I hope other sellers can provide you insights on what would be the best way to put a sign on your product soon.

Meanwhile, please consider to check the learning material below. (It's more about how to create a logo, so I apologize if this is not what you are looking for, but I hope it can give you a small spark for inspiration)

Hi There,

I fully understand with wanting to shorten name to initials for better placement and easier printing on your products. I also faced the same question.

I certainly am no expert OK but I made a logo just using some letters from my brand name however I did firstly check by a search that I was not infringing on any other Australian company's registered logo trademark. I could not see any other company using my proposed Logo but to be 100% sure I trademarked my logo - now it belongs to me and only I can use it.

In the beginning I did use my full name, however long, but because it was a registered business name I felt safer doing so.

Maybe you can check with IP Australia. from memory they have a live chat which can help.
