Refund provided even though the order was delivered

Dear Amazon team,

you approved a refund for the customer, order ID is 250-2135234-4011868. The refunded amount is 460 AUD. The item was delivered to the customer, I have a photo of the prooved delivery. Also here is a link to the courier company, it is very visible that order was delivered in time. Why have you refunded the client without even checking with me? I strongly disagree with the refund, the client got the monitor. The systme doesn't allow me to appeal, it just shows that the case was closed. You did not even bother to check the tracking or talk to me. That means any customer can claim a refund and you will easily approve it?

Tracking can be checked with Couriers Please, tracking ID is CPWI66900196605

This is just a cost of doing business on Amazon. This type of refund policy is what attracts buyers (good and occassionally not good) to Amazon vs other platforms.

Same in my case, there was no notification about the customer's complaint and amazon didn't bother about what I explained (I delivered the product to the customer myself). That's really unfair and I probably have to stop my business here.

Happens to me the same several times and Amazon only replies with template emails and boot answers, no real help from them even though they are taking good money from our sales.

Allow me to vent a bit of frustration regarding recent events. It's truly disheartening to witness the triple whammy of loss that accompanies each refund:

The initial purchase of the product.

The cost of shipping.

The reimbursement to the customer.

As a small and relatively new business owner, these five refunds have wiped out all the hard-earned profits I had painstakingly accrued. While I understand that my choice of delivery partner, India Post, may not always guarantee lightning-fast delivery, it's currently the only option within my budgetary constraints.

It's a bitter pill to swallow when customers not only receive their products but also receive their money back. How is this fair to any of us?

Here's to hoping for smoother sailing and brighter days ahead.

No good mate. Looking at the tracking it appears it was not signed for, but left in safe place. Amazon would be looking for a signature.

The best shipping partners to use seem to be Australia Post, Star Track and you need to decide which value goods/parcels need to have "signature on delivery".

The tracking indicates that the package was left in a safe place. Without a signature upon delivery, disputes with Amazon can be challenging. It's advisable to prioritize obtaining a photo of the delivery. If a customer claims non-delivery, contacting the courier and filing an insurance claim is the recommended course of action. For items valued over $100, opting for delivery with a signature is the safest choice. My 4 year experience with Amazon.
