Wish I never started selling

Becoming a amazon seller seems impossible to me. If you already have your foot in the door for a business I feel as though selling on here is going to cost a fortune more than what my product is worth. I'm already down $2000 and probably sold about $140. I do not get the advertisement that is just draining away all my funds like a vacuum.

Amazon is not a get rich quick platform (at least, any longer). Did you do ay research before jumping in?

Advertising is costing you on a per click basis, not a sale basis. It is easy to burn through advertising money without getting sales, unfortunately.

If you are selling product in heavily contested categories, such as phone cases for instance, then it is really hard to make any money, nevermind sales.

post. I just got rejected for HANDMADE application. Reading the posts of the sellers in this department I am happy they rejected my application although I believe it was discrimination.

Well, in my opinion, when I first got into Amazon, I actually spent almost a year taking daily online classes from a well-known eCommerce platform—lectures, notes, the whole thing. Even after selling for over 3 years, I still feel like it’s not enough.

Amazon keeps changing all the time, and honestly, the people who’ve really figured out how to crack PPC aren’t giving away their secrets for free on YouTube.

To be real, I think most of the YouTube “gurus” are folks who couldn’t make it big on Amazon, so they switched to making content instead. I mean, just think about it—if their PPC strategies were that good, why would they post it for free when they could be making serious money offering those services to sellers?
