Desactivation Account - Confusion

Dear Amazon Team,

My store has been deactivated due to the affiliation of "another store" when using the "User Permission" option. The other account that I was trying to "affiliate" belongs to my brother, who had a store called "JC Tech," but it had no listings created or active. However, there was a misunderstanding with the "User Permission" tool, as the purpose was not to manage multiple stores. The primary reason was to secure access to the account in case the primary phone was lost due to unforeseen theft, which is why my brother's phone was later added as another verification method to access the account. All information has been recorded in case ID: 15848252801, as well as in our appeal submitted regarding the deactivation caused by this confusion in using the platform's tools in the Performance section. Please assist in reactivating the account as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

It's not an issue to have the accounts associated, as long as BOTH accounts are activated and not suspended. They also cannot interact with each other, or sell the same type of product at any time. If your brother's account is deactivated, he needs to reactivate it. You cannot use the same phone number and 2 accounts.

As noted by @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI this association was caused due to your brothers account and the use of user permissions and their phone, this is working as intended and not a misunderstanding. When your brothers information was used to access your account, this immediately establishes a connection with their store. This is considered a violation of our code of conduct - multiple accounts policy when the associated store is deactivated.

  • You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.

The information in this case does not offer supporting information that validates a separation. When it comes to our multiple account policy you will be required to follow on of two paths we provide. These are both dispute paths as we not longer accept a plan of action or appeal for these deactivation.

We will require that you provide business related documentation that validates the reason for a business association with the associated store. These documents will include but are not limited to contracts & termination agreements, bill of sale, or transfer of ownership, however seeing why this issue occurred it may be that these documents do not exist. If that is the situation, you will only have one path to pursue.

If the above mentioned documentation does not exist, you will be required to ensure your brothers account is reinstated. This would clear up the association to a deactivated store. Have you communicated with your brother on having them reactivate their store? If you need more guidance you can provide your brothers deactivation notice here so we can offer guidance or support that that stores reactivation process.
