Do we put GS1 barcode on the product packaging?
Hi,
I am getting some conflicting information. I some places I see sellers buying GS1 bar codes and putting them on the product packaging. On the other side, I am also getting some info where they say to create a listing and put Amazon's FNSKU on the packaging. I have a couple of questions:
1) Do I place the GS1 barcode or FNSKU on the product packaging?
2) If I put FNSKU, do I also place the GS1 barcode somewhere or is it just used in the backend (i.e., added when creating a listing but not displayed externally)?

NO. It's the one or the other. I recommend placing ONLY the FNSKU on the packaging. The GS1 barcode is necessary when you create your PL listing.
