Tax Report Reporting Much Higher Sales
Hi!
Im doing my states taxes, reporting taxable sales, etc. September and October's tax report generated accurately, however, when I generated Novembers, its reporting 2-3x more sales than i actually got; specifically in the field "TaxExclusive_Selling_Price".
I can even run my sales report and its showing my accurate sales. Does anyone know why this is or has any experience with this?

Sorry, I have no idea about US sales tax and can't answer for what reason you see more sales in the report. The only thing I know is that YOU as seller DON'T have to pay them. Amazon is collecting from the customers and remitting the sales tax to each state.

Most likely you had more buyers from states with very high sales tax such as California in the month of November compared to October where you may have had a higher ratio of low to no sales tax states.

Hello @Seller_kC8Co1nkYUnvB,
Thank you for reaching out. I wanted to follow up and see if you still had any additional questions around tax reporting. Looks like other sellers have provided some great responses.
While we can not advise on taxes, please click HERE for resources that have to do with Amazon and tax collection.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
