I need two seperate log ins/ passwords for buyer and seller accounts
I am attempting to create two different passwords for buyer and seller accounts. I changed the seller password and email and when I went to buyers it also changed that to the same. My seller account will be maintained by outside personnel I do not wish to have access to my buyer account log in information. How is this accomplished?

You need to go into user permissions and setup separate access for them to use. You don't want to give an outsider admin access to your account because that would give them the ability to completely take it over.

Two questions come to mind:
Why not just have a buyer account that is not linked to the seller account? There would still be the buyer account that is linked, but you can have a second (or third, or however many you want) buyer account.
Secondly, if you don't trust these people with access to your buyer account, why would you trust them to run your seller account? Why are you not running your business yourself? Please tell us that you are not outsourcing to a VA in another country who is doing nothing more than using your credentials until he gets suspended again.

Hello @Seller_27T0j2hvOd3tX,
Thank you for posting your inquiry into Forums. Looks like @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqDand @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwhave provided some great questions and guidance. Set and edit user permissions
Individual sellers: The ability to set and edit user permissions is available only to sellers with a Professional selling plan. To learn more, go to Selling plan comparison.
When you initially set up your Seller Central account, only you can access the account tools and features. You can provide access to others, such as employees, co-owners, or contractors, by setting your user permissions.
To invite new users, follow these steps:
- From the Settings drop-down menu, select User permissions.
- Enter the contact information for the new user and click Send invitation. Repeat for all new users that you want to add.
- Have your new users follow the instructions in the email that they'll receive.
To edit new-user permissions, follow these steps:
- From the Settings drop-down menu, select User permissions.
- Click Edit next to the account that you want to change.
- Click the button next to each tool that you want to allow the user to access.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Cheers,
Micah
