VARIATION THEME QUESTION- Change from STYLE NAME to COLOR NAME
I am trying to change update the variation theme from STYLE NAME to COLOR NAME.
We have started with 3 ASIN and we used STYLE NAME Variation theme. We eventually added more ASINs and put them in the same variation group.
Now we want to change the Variation Theme to COLOR NAME as this is the most appropriate for us now, and we have competitors that has the same Variation theme.
We are able to change the newer ASINs to COLOR NAME, however we can't do it for the first 3 ASINs we originally have.
I have reached out to seller support but I was told it is not possible to change the variation theme.
I have been trying to upload flat files, but the system still recognizes the STYLE NAME variation, even though we have put COLOR NAME in the variation
theme in the Flat File.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? What did you do to solve it?

Thank you for reaching out with your question with your variation theme. Error 20002 occurs because the original variation information is in conflict with the change you are trying to make. You may need to create a new variation, deleting the current variation. Variations are tied at the SKU level so you likely will need to replace the parent SKU in order to change the variation theme.
