I want to know about the GST charging on my each sale (10% on FBA fee and 10% on Refferal fee)

I am selling on Amazon Australia for last one year. I tried to figure out many times about the GST which is charged on my each sale on amazon. 10% Gst is charged on Fulfillment Fee and 10% on refferal fee and 10% on any fee if there are.

I don't know why I have to give 10% each time to amazon. I's doing business on ABN and I also gave 10% on purchase from the supplier as well. and after 3 months I also have to file tax return.

Could anyone please guide me how I can avoid these taxes. is there a mistake I am doing. Please advise

Hello, @Seller_gxRVbQMpiSMNS

Thank you for sharing your concerns in the seller forum.

In general, sellers will be responsible for the collection and/or payment of any and all of your taxes.

Any and all fees payable by sellers to Amazon pursuant to this Agreement are exclusive of all sales, use, goods and services, and similar taxes, and sellers will pay any taxes that are imposed and payable on such amounts.

I will include relevant help pages for your reference.

If you would like to know more about taxes, please kindly consult with a professional adviser.

I hope you found this helpful!
