Authorized Supplier Only providing Brand Authorization Letter to Amazon but not to me directly
Hello,
My selling account was de-activated due to alleged inauthenticity claim by Amazon (section 3 violation). I believed i had submitted all relevant supporting documents, except the "Document supporting that supplier is authorized by the brand owner" in my 3 appeals, as my supplier (wholesale distributor) will not provide. My appeals were unsuccessful and Amazon's reasons of rejection were rather vague. They merely stated that they are unable to re-activate my account and had confirmed that my account had been confirmed" to be used in engaging in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.....and our store."
My supplier cited "confidentiality of commercial agreements" as their reason for not providing me the Authorization documentation from brand . However, my supplier is willing to provide the documentation to Amazon if Amazon contact them directly. My supplier had also provided letters of assurance, addressed to Amazon & submitted together with my appeal, to give assurance of Authenticity, and also explaining their stance. With this assurance, the supplier looks bona fide to me
However Amazon is not contacting them despite me explaining to an Amazon account health executive. My account is now in limbo. What should i do now? Is there anyway to get Amazon contact my supplier directly to get the authorization document? Any other means besides the Brand Authorization document to verify my supplier?
Thank you

Usually Amazon wants an LOA from the BRAND, not from the wholesale distributor you purchase from. Typically the distributor doesn't actually have the power to give you permission to sell or not to sell on Amazon.

Hi there @Seller_lONxv83pn354C,
Thank you for utilizing the Seller Forums.
I understand your selling account has been deactivated due to concerns for the authenticity of the products you have offered for sale.
As Amazon holds authenticity in the same high regard as intellectual property, it is imperative all sellers remain respectful of a rights owner's intellectual property at all times. Not only does this help maintain compliance for the seller in terms of local, state, federal laws in addition to Amazon policies, but this also helps preserve the trust of buyers.
How were you able to find this supplier? Did you confirm they were authorized to sell or distribute the goods prior to you purchasing them and offering them for sale on Amazon?
Typically, this information needs to be sent from you rather than the supplier.
Often times, such a question of authenticity can be addressed with sourcing documentation or a letter of authorization from the brand itself, for you as the seller as @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY has stated.
Without the requested information being submitted, we are unable to guarantee your submission will be viewed. I suggest continuing to monitor your performance notifications, e-mails, and case logs for future requests.
