You need to provide tax information!

Good evening, everyone!

I come to express a concern I am facing and I hope someone from the higher support can pay attention to this issue.

Two months ago, my account was "frozen", indicating that some document was missing to release my sales again. On the main Amazon page, I am being asked to provide tax information to "open my account", even though I already have an account and have been selling on Amazon for eight months, using my Brazilian documents at the time of opening the account.

The problem is that Amazon is requesting a document that was already provided eight months ago when I opened my account. Additionally, they claim to have received the documents but do not release my access to sell. It has been over two months, they say is being reviewed by the IRS. As mentioned earlier, the Brazilian Doc have no relation to the IRS, which is a Us gover agency. Therefore, they are unlikely to be able to verify these documents.

As a result, I am unable to sell, my inventory is stalled, and despite opening several tickets with Amazon, they only say that the internal team is analyzing. It has been over two months, and I have not yet received a solution to my problem. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of support response.

Furthermore, I took the initiative to open my LLC to update the tax information, but due to the impasse with the ongoing analysis, I cannot remove my CPF (Brazilian tax information document) to replace it with the EIN (American tax information document). This solution seems essential to solving the problem at hand.

The situation is such that I can only update my data after the completion of the ongoing analysis; however, this analysis seems never to be completed. I have been waiting for a response from support for over two months now, and this wait is becoming increasingly exhausting and worrying for me.
