Account deactivated for identity verification

Hello

Our AU seller account deactivated for failed identity verification on 22.08.2024.

We had shown wrong identity document during video call verification.

We acknowledged our mistake humbly and requested for another chance for re-verification.

We submitted many appeals on account health page but never received any response. We dont know Amazon team reading our submissions or not.

We just want to know from Amazon associate, please let us know "Do Amazon team read the submissions or not"?

Thank you

Amazon’s customer service is proving to be utterly frustrating. They seem to lack any understanding of the law and behave as though they create their own rules. I've been struggling to reactivate my account without success for months now.

We’ve already provided them with a copy of our ASIC documentation (Australia's corporate regulator), yet they deemed it insufficient. Even after submitting a signed statutory declaration, they’re still claiming it’s not enough. Now, they’re asking for an affidavit—a formal document that must be signed before a judge, solicitor, or similar legal authority.

This makes me wonder: are they positioning themselves as judge and jury, wielding such excessive power? It certainly feels like they’re overstepping their boundaries.

To make matters worse, they’re holding onto thousands of dollars of ours, deciding unilaterally to keep it for 90 days. It begs the question: is selling on Amazon worth it for anyone? Perhaps it’s time to think twice or at least consider the countless blogs detailing how they exploit sellers—like allowing customers to return products with no questions asked at the seller’s expense.

It’s exhausting, and I’m starting to see why so many sellers walk away from this platform.

Thanks Amazon,

Andrew
