Insight on featured offer.
hi everyone.
Can someone give me a little help with this featured offer thing. I just got off chat with support and they were useless.
So here is what's happening. On all my products , I am the only seller as they are all manufactured by ourselves and there is not other seller , so shouldn't the featured offer be ours all the time ? Idk I may be wrong.
So usually my featured offer on the dashboard says 99% with a little green up arrow. Today it says 0% with a little red down arrow. So I looked and yes many of my listings have the buy bos but some don't. I can't figure this out and I'm selling here over 15 years 🤷

I also have my own product, no one else sells it, and most of the time I have a high % for the feature offer, but sometimes its blank & goes up & down for some reason. I never had it say 0%, or go under 80%, just blank or a high % but I have no idea what that box even means.
I have asked, but never got a real answer. I am selling for 10 years & still have no idea. Anyone with info can enlighten me, but going back to your situation, check on your inventory page if there is a sales rank. Usually if there is no sales rank, it is flagged as an adult product, but still shows, just in the adult section, with no sales rank. Maybe a bot flagged something. Im hoping its that easy, so you can fix it.

Hello I do have the same problem. I was running discounts after they expired i got featured offer down to 0. Amazon is absolutely ridiculous. This needs to be reported to Federal Trade Commission. Everybody should report cases like this one. Keep copy of the cases opened with Amazon and here from the Forums. Amazon was sued last year for the Buy Box they just change the words to Featured Offer but it works on the same principles
Since this year i report every issue with Amazon i cant solve with clear explanation to FTC. Hope more people start doing it. They are only people who get on top of Amazon.

My dashboard featured offer says 0% too and I still have the buy box on most of my listings, which I'm also the only seller of. There may just be a glitch in Seller Central right now.

Out of curiosity, if you are the only one that sells a particular product or products, aren't you also the only offer option for someone to buy it from? The buy box/featured offer really only come into play when there are multiple sellers of a product, correct?
No one at Amazon is ever going to explain the algorithm they use for determining featured off/buy box as sellers then would be able to deliberately manipulate them. Asking them to do so is a waste of time.

To give customers the best possible shopping experience, sellers must meet performance-based requirements to be eligible to compete for Featured Offer placement. This means that not all sellers may be eligible for the Featured Offer. I would recommend reviewing the Become the Featured Offer page for tips on how to get the Featured Offer.
Pricing your items competitively, offering faster and free shipping, providing great customer service, and keeping stock available are all methods that you'd want to sustain in order to be Featured Offer Eligible. The other criteria is that Amazon selects compelling offers to feature from among a pool of eligible offers.
Do note that Amazon does not guarantee that any seller is selected for the Featured Offer. The Featured Offer is given according to internal criteria and it's not possible to share why it may be granted or not.
