Quick shoutout, especially to our mates in Queensland! With Ekka Day coming up, we wanted to give you the lowdown on something important.
Here’s the deal: Amazon’s system doesn’t give a nod to Ekka Day being a public holiday. Yeah, we know, a bit of a bummer. Last year, some of us got caught up in a Late Shipment Rate rollercoaster because of orders did not send out on Ekka Day. And you guessed it, Amazon wasn’t too thrilled about it. They even waved the “account deactivation” flag in our faces.
So, here’s our two cents: Don’t let those orders go rogue on Ekka Day. Make sure each one is armed with a tracking number. Amazon’s watching those numbers like a hawk, and we definitely don’t want our metrics taking a hit.

If you live not far from the border between local councils you can Post your mail at a Post Office in a different council area, as the Ekka holiday only affect Brisbane City Council today - other nearby councils have a different date.
