Accidentally opened 2 sellers account under my name as a new seller.

Hi,

I opened a new seller account couple weeks back but the credit card wasn't being processed for 4-5 days and I got frustrated. I opened a second account a week later which I was planning for my wife but accidently filled out my information. Currently both accounts are not active and I've been going back & forth with the bots without any positive feedback. If someone can help & let me know what to do, I'd highly appreciate it. TIA

you need to ignore the second account and activate the first one. Amazon is slow, things here don't happen with ANY kind of speed. There are strict rules for having a second account, really there are STRICT rules about everything. I recommend reading forum post a few hours to find out if this is really what you think it will be....

I can see the root cause of problem here is having issue with updating credit card. If your account is deactivated and you are opening a new account using same information, new account will be deactivated as well. I am attaching the help page here for your reference:

Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct

Now to reactivate your accounts, as @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EIhas mentioned, you must address the issue in your first account, which is updating credit card details. Perhaps you may try to add another credit card details instead?

I am not sure how much access of the first account you still have when there is no valid credit card on file. Would you be able to create a case (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/support) and describe your issue in detailed? This way, you will allow the relevant team to investigate and revert as soon as possible for your necessary assistance.

I hope my response provides clarification to your question. Let us know if there is any further assistance needed from this point onward.

The forums community and I are here to support you.

Regards,

Mindy
