You have to understand business formation and what they mean and how Amazon requires them to be submitted.

- How is your account set up now? Who owns the account. You personally, or is the account in a business name?

- Who owns the USTPO Registered Brand name, you or your business?

A. If you are a Sole Proprietor or a Sole Member LLC business, you are one in the same person. Amazon wants your SS number, because all of your tax is filed by you. Amazon will report your earnings to the Government under that number.

B. If your business in an incorporated LLC business with multiple partners, and your Amazon account is set up under that name, and your USTPO Registered brand name is set up under that name, use the EIN.

How here is the problem you are going to have. If you try to change from A to B usage in any way, Amazon Bots will shut down your account. Nothing personal, it is just the Bots have been programmed to view any name, address, or filing number as an account take over. It can take months to get resolver, if ever accomplished.
