How to close a deactivated seller account

My seller account is deactivated by Amazon, but I cannot close it because Amazon ask me to reactivate it first, but if I can reactivate it why should close it?

I WANT TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT BECAUSE IT IS DEACTIVATED AND I HAVE APPEALED FOR MANY TIMES WITHOUT GOOD RESULT.

IT IS REDICULOUS THAT AMAZON DON'T ALLOW ME TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.

If Amazon deactivated your account, it is NOT possible to close it. Neither to create another one. Just forget about it and be aware that you will never again be allowed to sell on Amazon in your life.

If they continue to charge your card: Delete card and bank account.

I see that your account is deactivated and you have questions about how to close it successfully.

@Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC has provided excellent information here. If your selling account is deactivated for any reason, you will not have the option to close it successfully. Any outstanding account issues must be resolved before closing an account.

Here are the requirements before attempting to close an account:

-Fulfill any outstanding orders.

-Wait 90 days after your last sale to ensure the A-to-z Guarantee claims period is honored.

-Wait until you have a zero balance in your account (your next disbursement or charge date).

-Resolve all of your transactions with buyers, including issuing any necessary refunds.

-Confirm that your bank account information on file is up-to-date to receive a final payment.

-Check your Performance notifications to make sure that all the reasons for your account's suspension have been resolved and your account is restored.

You can find the above information in this help page.

Can you share why your account was deactivated? What has been asked of you to provide in your appeal? You can also post the deactivation performance notification here, after removing your personal information, so we can take a look.
