Billed for FBA and 'other' courier fees

Hi All,

Recently started my store and been getting orders (FBA) from prime and non prime members.

So far so good until I saw that one non prime order got sent to customer (fba) and i got billed the standard FBA fees, as well as another ‘other’ fee for postage. Is this normal for non prime orders to go out via Australia post and i get billed twice, once for FBA as well as AU post?

If it isnt, where would I go to to raise a claim/investigation into this charge?

Thanks in advance

Never heard of this happening. Perhaps you can show screenshots (remove confidential info) and we can explain what's happening

There should be a referral fee and a fulfilment fee if this is what you mean.

Referral fee typically runs at about 10% of the sale price (varies by category), with the FBA fee dependant on the weight and dimensions of the product being sold.

As ThePerfectGifyOnline comments, if a member lacks Prime, and the order does not qualify for free shipping based on the size of the order, Amazon charge the customer delivery, however this is something that is added and removed from your sale, coming to a net of $0.

I know what your talking about your talking about someone who bought an item from your warehouse store and a shipping charge appeared on your bill -

Dont worry about it - its just the way amazon do there shipping - you dont actually get charged extra in the end. It balances itself out in the monthly invoice..
