Account Deactivated over a Section 3 from a product that I haven't sold since 2023.

Why on earth is my entire account being deactivated for a section 3 from a product I haven't sold since 2023? The product I sold came DIRECTLY from the manufacturer. I submitted proof and am being told I have to wait 4-5 days for it to be reviewed? I have done NOTHING wrong and you have deactivated my account preventing me from making money. This is so incredibly absurd. It is no surprise people are quitting selling on amazon. How can anyone afford to keep this up and constantly have to worry about being able to feed their family when Amazon randomly decides to shut your account down.

Amazon has a legal and fiducial duty to investigate any believable claim regarding IP rights. And the only time that it can be handled instantly is when the evidence for authenticity is obviously insufficient; if it's legit, or at least not obviously bad, it takes time for someone to look at it.

Sorry to hear that it happened to you, but it's something that Amazon HAS to do.

"The product I sold came DIRECTLY from the manufacturer. "

@Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwis correct but let's dig a bit deeper.

When you say that you bought them from the manufacturer, do you mean that you bought them WHOLESALE with an account at the company that required your tax exempt ID to open?

OR, as we see so often on here, do you mean that you bought it on their RETAIL website?

Depending on which one it is will determine how Amazon will treat this.

Dude you were trying to sell Nike on Amazon. Retail arbitrage is a violation of Amazon's sourcing policies. For further reading just search the forum for "Nike"

Can you clarify what the specific situation is that you've encountered? Section 3 is rather big and encompasses a number of policies. Was this related to authenticity, intellectual properties, or was this related to a supply chain and account review. As you mentioned, you have not sold this since 2023, was this listing till in your manage inventory at the time of deactivation? We consider listings in your manage inventory as listings you intend to sell, thus may require proof of proper sourcing.

Where exactly did your source your products from? Did you confirm with the brand that this was an authorized source for their products to be resold on amazon? Did you receive a letter of authorization from the brand or rights owner? Do you have proper sourcing documentation to verify that when you listed and sold these that you were sourcing them appropriately? What was the ASIN and brand listed? Can you provide the original deactivation notice so we can have a better understanding of your situation?

I sourced the product directly from the Ryze retail website. The listing on AMZ seemed to be the brand listing but if that wasn't the case then it certainly wasn't intentional.
View post

Even if the situation was unintentional, all sellers are individually responsible for the listings in their manage inventory. The provided ASIN as mentioned was used to sell RYZE brand mushroom coffee, the brand on the ASIN used to sell these products was listed as "XPRESS ECOMMERCE". Additionally, you mentioned that you sourced these from the brand retail site. This implies that you received an order confirmation or receipt, this becomes a more serious problem as these types of documents a known for their lack of specific information needed to verify everything we need.

When you provided your information, does it clearly state the product in question and the RYZE brand to ensure the correct products were being sourced. Does your documentation include the supplier information, and your information to ensure they're meeting their requested documentation. We will need to confirm who shipped and who received the products.
