FTW1 significant inbound shipment delay > 1 month checked in not processed

Hi all,

My shipment has been stuck at checked in status for FTW1 over a month now and have no update what so ever. The investigation period has been pushed back by Amazon 3 times at this point and seller support is not providing any solutions.

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

One time I waited for 60 days exactly. All my 400 units became active instantly.

Seems to be done intentionally to make you provide exact invoices or the keep and dispose.

Check to see if the units have been received under the contents tab. I have had shipments to this facility say "checked in" but all the units have been received.

When we draw Fort Wayne, we lower our expectation of timely processing and increase our expectation of scanning problems that we will have to chase through reimbursement software. Never have this issue w/ Midway. So yeah, they have issues there for us. Every time.

Yeah that hurts and it's happened to me at other fulfillment centers. I feel your pain. Sometimes shipments get checked in, but then for some reason there's a long delay to receive. You know something's gone or going wrong when this happens, but you can't initiate a case until a certain amount of time that seems to change on a case by case basis. I've had three extreme instances whereby shipments have been delivered and even checked in but then no activity or change for 2 or 3 months. Although it does seem strange when this happens, I'm not suggesting that this is intentional, but surely any rational cogent reasoning person can see something has gone wrong and deviated completely from the standard operating procedure Amazon has set in place. Now all that said, and to be fair this doesn't happen all the time, but we 3rd party sellers are extremely sensitive to this as it does have serious effects on our ability to; reach customers, operate fairly and competitively with other sellers.

Please be advised Amazon, I'm not complaining, but merely trying to implore your understanding that it does warrant researching exactly why this is happening and continues to happen without any accountability. The inventory sent into fulfillment centers should be generating sales that then provide Amazon with fees for their part and 3rd party sellers with their share instead of sitting dormant and taking up valuable space.

Hello,

Same problem also for me.

Package delivered by DHL to FTW1 at 21. September 2023 and until now it wasn't checked in .

No change in the status of the package in 44 days.

The investigation time frame was 25 October and we submited a investigation request

But then the investigation time frame was changed up to 12 December....

What can we do in this situation to speed up or at least have the package marked as delivered

FTW1 is the same warehouse that our inventory ships to and I have noticed increasing delays starting in mid-October. Most likely there are issues at that particular warehouse, with lots of holiday inventory piling in, I'm guessing.

It's not good but usually it does get resolved eventually.

This is completely normal and is happening at ALL FC's. The average check in and transfer time has been 4-5 weeks for a long time. We have sprinkled boxes all over the country to see if we could find an FC with better performance.

We have boxes sitting in California and Nevada since early summer. 6-9 MONTHS is not uncommon. FBA is a total clown show, so you have to be extremely patient, wait forever, and have your Invoices ready for all the lost / damaged / delayed items.

I have had this problem multiple times with SBD1 - BLOOMINGTON, CA. Recently sent a shipment there. It was picked up, shown on the schedule as In transit for almost THREE MONTHS! Then it showed up as being delivered to a different warehouse, GYR2 - GOODYEAR, AZ where I make sure to send most of our shipments now.

After this happened twice with this warehouse, I keep deleting the planned shipment until I get GYR2 or similar.

Our warehouse is in Vernon, CA. Less than an hour from Bloomington.

Take screenshots of the tracking. If it's UPS it expires after 3 months.
