I've got a very serious problem.
The orders for my item link have gone straight down the drain since I received a three star review, almost every other day, and the link has disappeared from the front page every other day for the last week, with the backend showing no on-sale Amazon inventory by the hundreds.Every single time.Every single time.Every time you have to swipeEvery time you have to brush the templateEvery time you have to brush the template toEvery time you have to brush the template to recoverEvery time you have to brush the template to recover the linkEvery time I had to brush the template to get the link back.
It's very distressing now that orders are not as good as they used to be, and now my overall rating is only 3.9, is it true that a rating of 4 or above is required for orders to grow and stabilise, and below 4 orders will particularly affect sales?

I have never thought about it that way but I would agree. To grow an Amazon product, it needs to be a, naturally, appealing item. You can do everything right on Amazon and if you are selling garbage...no one will want the garbage.
I would agree that below a 4 star review average means something is wrong with the item/offer.

Hi @Seller_y6Hg0flql0JxL,
Tatiana from Amazon here -- I'm just coming across your post. I can understand how frustrated you must feel about this review especially if it has had an impact on your overall average.
Whenever sellers experience this I encourage them to take a look at the content of the review and think about whether or not a possible improvement could be made to the product. If the review reports a malfunction of some kind, or a feature that could be added then this could be a great opportunity to look into those improvements.
It could also be an indication that there might be something missing from the detail page. Maybe the product is functioning as it should, but there are details that could be added to the bullet points, product description, or A+ Content that will better inform future customers.
While I cannot provide an immediate solve to this for you, I do hope that my comments above help bring some perspective.
