Our inventory performance index has plummeted

Our IPI number has plummeted in the last several months and I don't understand why. We are doing nothing different. We take care of excess and stranded inventory daily. We are always in light or dark green for the four factors that make up the index. Is anyone else experiencing a similar drop?

Hello @Seller_AU6wO22PCcZbj

Thanks for reaching out to Amazon Forums.

Let's wait and see if any other Seller can share their experience and if there are similar cases. In the meantime, I'll share with you a few suggestions that might help improve your score:

  • Review your sell-through rate and consider adjusting prices or running promotions for slow-moving items.
  • Check for any recent changes in demand or seasonality that might affect your inventory levels.
  • Ensure you're maintaining a good balance between in-stock rate and excess inventory.
  • Look into any potential issues with your listing quality or product performance.

If you continue to see unexplained fluctuations in your IPI score, I recommend contacting Seller Support for a more detailed analysis of your account.

Best,

Nano
