Hi I have been using Amazon for over 1 year and have not received one single sale? What could I be doing wrong?

After 4 months using FBA Australia, without any PPC system on place, I’m finding really difficult that my products rank on the first pages. I’ve been seeing exactly the same products on the first pages for more than 8 months. Organic rank is not enough and it doesn’t work. Besides, I’ve noticed that products sold by international sellers (mainly from the US) are ranking better than products shipped by FBA Australia…Shouldn’t Sellers holding inventory in FBA Australia have some kind of preference on the rankings?..However, I think that the main problem is that there are not still enough shoppers buying on Amazon Australia.

I have to say, that I only manage to sell on Amazon AU, when I drive traffic via Facebook ads. That is not really how it’s supposed to be, but I suppose it’s better than nothing. Still … disappointing.

Compared to my US sales, it’s quite an eye opener how little traffic there are:

NOV 2018
Sessions US: 1572
Sessions AU: 17
Orders US: 406
Orders AU: 2

DEC 2018
Sessions US: 2056
Sessions AU: 12
Orders US: 685
Orders AU: 1

JAN 2019
Sessions US: 1602
Sessions AU: 5
Orders US: 428
Orders AU: 0

…I suppose Amazon still has a long way to go, when it comes to actual traffic on the website.

Sorry no help, but similar story. We’ve been on for nearly a year, handful of sales earlier on but haven’t had anything in the past few months. Honestly it’s in the back of my mind now because we do very well on eBay and our own website, haven’t had time to figure out if there’s anything I can do. But honestly I just think it’s because Amazon isn’t popular in Australia yet, can’t compete with eBay right now. Maybe it’ll change, hence sticking with paying the monthly fee and not seeing any returns until such time as I have time to Google and see if there’s anything I can do. Good luck!

On Amazon AU ~4-5 months now with 3 sales.
We have 73 product listings (not including size and colour variations) on here.
We are at about 3 sales right now.
Over there time we have sold about ~12,000 units else were.
I think it is safe to say amazon AU is a amazing flop.

Hi There,
We do quite well on other platforms such as AMAZON - CANADA + AMAZON - USA.
Thinking that the AUSTRALIA would be a similar demographic we sent 12 of our more popular SKUS’s to FBA…
It has been almost 1 year & other than 1 SKU we have sold virtually nothing.
1 SKU just before Xmas suddenly sold & we actually sold out !
So thinking that was was great, we sold more stock & now that is also sitting there.
Very Very frustrated, since our stock is sitting there in FBA & very soon we will be paying for FBA fees for inventory > 12 months.

We are going to try moving the inventory on Ebay to see if this is any better.
Also going to try to use FACEBOOK ads with a targeted AUSTRALIAN audience.
see how that works !

Did anyone try to use the promotions since there are no PPC ads yet? Could “percentage off” or “buy 1 get 1 free” bring some more sales?

must be the niche you are in as sales are trickling for us. Our market is popular but also saturated
