Account hacked and category was changed without consent
Has anyone had this problem where your products category gets changed without your authorization?
Now i cannot even change my category back without getting approval for the fake category someone has changed it too.
My product has over a year worth of sales and reviews with the multivitamin category and now its under groceries and gourmet food and i cant edit my product without getting approval for grocercies and gourmet foods which i dont even want.
I've been talking to support for over a month and they havent helped one bit, always sending me scripted replies without answering any of my questions or giving me a proper explanation.
There is no Australia point of contact too so dealing with international people is difficult, they either dont care or dont understand.
Has anyone dealth with this before? Can anyone help. I dont want to lose my ranking and reviews by starting again.

Really tricky situation.
In my experience, category changes are usually made by Amazon's AI 'bots'.
It's important that you try and get hold of the Category support team, so get on the phone with seller support and ask to be transferred or escalated to the 'Category team'.
You can also try calling the Account Health team; sometimes you might get someone there who will try and help but they're usually reluctant to get involved with product-related issues.
Lastly, lodge a ticket and ask for a Category Listings report to be enabled for your account. This is essentially a flat file with a full 'dump' of all your inventory and which categories your products are assigned.
