Coin/Button Battery GCC Compliance

Case IDs: 16353923741,16339981911,16333770161,16333087971,16332732241,16323332191,16322953711,16218416731

I was asked to upload a compliance document which I did (hazmat) and it was approved. 1 week later, (my item hasnt even arrived yet to Amazons warehouse) my Listing was deactivated, because Amazon assumes that my product has a button/coin cell battery.

None of my products nor any of its components contain any button/coin cell batteries. I have appealed 4x shown images, uploaded reports, updated my listing and my appeals continue to be rejected without explanation.

Can someone from Amazon please help me?

why is the product considered Hazmat? What kind of compliance did Amazon require?

If the product doesn't use a coin/button cell battery, I have been successful in an appeal when supplying Amazon with a instruction manual or owners manual showing that the product is powered by a different battery (AA, AAA, ect), or power source. The real difficulty is actually getting someone at Amazon to take 10 seconds to review and see that the product uses a power source other than a coin or button cell battery. Be persistant my friend.

Hello @Seller_XDdm1YgKRAvhh,

Thank you for contacting us and for providing the additional information about your case. I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with the deactivation of your listing.

Based on the details you've provided, it seems that the deactivation may be related to an assumption by Amazon that your product contains a button/coin cell battery, even though that is not the case. I'd like to let you know that your compliance is currently under review, and the compliance team will need around 15 days to resolve this issue.

I've also noticed that you've been closing the cases you've opened with seller support. I'd kindly ask you to refrain from doing that, as closing a case means it is considered resolved. Instead, please keep the cases open so that the compliance team can continue investigating and working to resolve the issue.

We are here to help you through this process. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're committed to supporting you and ensuring that your listing is reactivated as soon as possible.

Best regards,

-Roxy

I have the same thing for clocks that use AA or AAA batteries. You would need to change whatever I used to your battery specs but 8 out of 10 times, this works....

This product uses a AA Cell Battery

AA battery is a standard-size single-cell cylindrical dry battery also known as double-A batteries

A coin battery also known as a button cell or watch battery is a small round battery that is shaped like a coin or button

Coin batteries are typically used in low-power electronic devices such as calculators, hearing aids, watches, ETC

Coin batteries and AA batteries differ in size, voltage, and uses

AA batteries are longer and have a different shape than coin batteries

AA batteries measure 49.5–50.5mm in length and 13.7–14.5 mm in diameter

Coin batteries measure 5–25 mm in diameter and 1–6 mm in height
