Switching Main (US) account to Australia

I have spent two day & tried rewording my question (too many times to count). I opened my account and chose US. I did not see anything warning me that if I chose to downgrade from business (again, I remember reading up on business, individual etc and choosing personal) that I would be charged as Mexico cannot be downgraded. This is sneaky & I feel very underhanded & should not be allowed as it is hiding information (this should be part of the 'full disclosure' of all information). I then added Australia and this was where I discovered that I could not downgrade entirely. I tried to switch my main account from US to Australia & cannot find any information as to whether this is even possible or not. I am an individual & I only want to sell in Australia. I have put a ticket forward asking how to not have the US as my main store. But even doing this was an absolute nightmare & when the email response came, it was stating that I had asked for a refund. I had asked for so much more but do not know if this is even going to be noted.

My questions:

Is it possible to swop and make Australia my main account?

If not, will the US (inactive) status eventually cause that account to be removed without any repercussions and Australia with become my main account?

Will doing this get me my refund since I will not be selling there?

If not, would it be possible to just delete my account entirely and start again & can I use the same information and set it up again from scratch?

Am adding here as I go down the page to choose categories within which to post and see issues. I can only select one category (my issue possibly fits into 2) but there is no choice of adding a second. Each category has tags and again, the category I need does not have the tags (which are in a different category).
