Amazon partnered shipping isn't the best deal anymore

For as long as I've been doing FBA (about 6 years) partnered shipping has been the way to ship LTL and it really hasn't even been close. Since Amazon has forced us to split shipments to 5 FCs to avoid inbound placement fees I did a deep dive into the most cost-effective way to ship LTL. I have had an account with the load broker Unishippers for years and found I'm saving hundreds of dollars using them to ship. Obviously, every shipment and business is different, but I figured I'd make a PSA, and hopefully, someone else can find some savings by not using Amazon-partnered carriers.

Total cost using Unishippers for 1 pallet going to 5 different FC's across the country - $1342.49

Amazon's freight charges using partnered carriers - $1961.77
