Hijacked Listings
Hey everyone,
The last 2 months i keep getting fake sellers saying they are selling my brand which is impossible as it's my own brand and i have brand registery. I am the only seller of this brands. I need to keep complaining to amazon and messaging the fake sellers to remove my listing or face legal action and they finally remove it and apologise.
Is there a way i can prevent this from happening? Starting to go a little crazy with it and amazon usually takes awhile to resolve it and it's damaging business.
Thanks

In my experience the "Verified by Transparency program" is the best option. You have to apply a barcode with a unique serial number on every product, you lodge these numbers with amazon who scan the barcode during fufilement, if the number doesnt match one provided by you the item cant sell. It pretty much makes it impossible for someone else to sell your product as they wont be able to get the numbers.
Have a look at this listing for an example

Hi @Seller_yxFDzAyKSanCC,
Thank you for your post.
As @Seller_WSUscihA4GQD3 has already replied to you, you might want to consider checking the Transparency program.

Hello
Was happening to me quite regularly at one stage and I am brand registered. If your business name and/or logo is registered and/or a registered trademark try this - include your business name in your product description bullet points and on your product photos include your logo or business name (except for main image as it is not allowed by Amazon).
If they hijack your listing they cannot alter your description nor your images so in effect they would be using your registered business name and logo without permission which is trademark infringement and against the law here in Australia. You can actually sue for that outside of the Amazon realms.
Since I have been doing this, I have not had any hijacker or foreign drop shipper take over my listings.
I am quite sure these hijackers look for products on Amazon that are easy targets because there is no logo on any of the photos or business name in the description.
hope this helps
