Orders from 3-5 weeks ago not shipped yet?

While my inventory was being processed by receiving, not yet available on prime but in FC transfer, I had sold a handful of units. Many had cancelled because of the time, but I have about 5 outstanding that have been there for 3-5 weeks now and are past the amazon "ship by" date. My inventory has been available/on prime and shipping out from other orders for over 2 weeks now. I reached out to Amazon and they say the system is "working effectively".. but I feel like these have gotten lost in the shuffle and i don't know what to do. They all say awaiting payment, but we all know payment doesnt occur until they are processed. Looking for guidance if this has happened to anyone else on how to move the process forward? I'd hate to lose these customers as my product is ideally a repeat customer-type of product. Thanks!

Honestly we don't babysit our orders (usually). They either ship or not.

This is not unusual at all. I currently have 116 pending FBA orders. 23 of them are over 2 weeks old. Before Christmas I had over 300 pending FBA orders. Amazon will just tell you that they are "awaiting payment verification". This is an FBA problem, not a payment problem.

Lots of orders get canceled due to Amazon always transferring items.

It happened with me too, now they will say that they lost your inventory, I am sure that those 5 outstanding orders must be saying that its awaiting a payment confirmation from customer. In my case, after 1.5 months when I started following up, they said that they do not have inventory it got lossed and they paid very low amount. So i made my rule, no more FBA now, give discount to customers directly and ship by ourself.

If they are "waiting for payment verification" they are waiting for payment verification. Surely you don't think the products should ship before Amazon can collect the money?

"awaiting payment" means sitting in a cart in my experience. Not to worry.

We use FBA, and we currently have 3 orders that are 2 months old lol. It's usually a payment issue with the buyer that Amazon can't verify the payment (and continues to ATTEMPT to charge an invalid credit card) which ultimately causes it stuck in a verification loop.

Nothing you can do at this point. Did you ship within the time frame that you said you would. They list the product for sale once it is on its way. This is a prime example of the left hand not know what the right hand is doing. If they have been received like they should have been then no problem.

This is another reason why we will not be using FBA anymore.
