Packages not arriving because of Incomplete Addresses??

For the third or fourth time now (twice in the last twelve hours) I am being contacted by customers who have not received their products from me.

Each time, it turns out (when I go back and look at the order) that NO street address was supplied. Not sure how I overlooked that when I sent them .... but I must have, since it's so unusual that I never thought to check.

I imagine there is no solution but to refund or send a new package (I leave it up to the customer to choose) but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this! How can the packing slips be generated without full addresses ...? Is it the customers' negligence or a glitch on Amazon's part?

It's incredibly frustrating and costly ...

For clarification, are these packages being sent back to you due to being undeliverable? If the packages are lost by the carrier, you can consult this help page for additional details on opening a claim with the carrier (based on what carrier was used).

Although I haven't seen this concern expressed in the Forums, if the issue is still persisting, please feel free to open a case with our Support team for additional guidance on how to handle this case. If you already have a case ID number, you can post it to this thread and I'll take a look.

Amazon removes the street address portion after the order has been fulfilled after a few days. If you re-print the label, you will still see the actual street address.
