Magnetic Tiles

Amazon’s policies require that magnetic tiles sold through the Amazon website meets the testing requirement as per specified standards. In order to sell these products on Amazon, you must apply and submit the following to

  5. A list of Magnetic tile ASINs you are applying to sell
  6. Image of Warning Labelling requirement displaying on the product/Package.
  7. Documentation from an accredited testing laboratory or organisation is required to confirm the product was tested and found to comply with the applicable standards listed in the following table:

The Magnetic tiles shall comply with the relevant sections of one of the following four standards as per Consumer Goods (Toys Containing Magnets) Safety Standard 2020:

  1. Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2019 Safety of toys Part 1: Safety aspects related to mechanical and physical properties.
  2. European Standard EN 71-1:2014+A1:2018 Safety of toys - Part 1: Mechanical and physical properties.
  3. International Standard ISO 8124-1:2018 Safety of toys – Part 1: Safety aspects related to mechanical and physical properties.
  4. US Standard ASTM F963 - 17 Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety.

Note: You certify that all materials that you submit are true, authentic, and accurate. Amazon may remove your selling privileges for failing to meet these requirements.

What is a Magnetic Tile?

Magnetic building tiles, also known as magnetic building blocks, are children’s toys made of plastic or other materials. They contain high-powered magnets either embedded within the product or affixed to the ends.
