The Holiday settings widget in Seller Central gives sellers an overview of upcoming public holidays. Sellers can customise them to match their operation schedule and capability.
Seller Central contains a set of predefined public holidays. When estimating ship dates and delivery dates, public holidays do not count as operating days. Therefore, if an estimated ship date or delivery date falls on a public holiday, holiday settings will push the ship or delivery date to the next operating day. Sellers who wish to keep handling and fulfilling customer orders on public holidays may override these predefined public holidays and have them count as operating days by using the Holiday settings widget in Seller Central.
Sellers that have overridden public holidays to make them operating days can revert these days to public holidays.
For offers associated with the manual shipping template, as long as a seller overrides a holiday to make it an operating day, that day counts as an operating day available for handling. For offers associated with the automation template, when a seller overrides a holiday to make it an operating day, and the day is an operating day for the shipping service level that the seller selected, then the day will count as an operating day for the estimated ship day calculation.
When a holiday falls on a weekend and the seller overrides the holiday to make it an operating day through the ‘Holiday settings’ widget, that day counts as an operating day, regardless of the seller’s weekend operation settings.
