Small kitchen appliances

Important: If you supply products for sale on Amazon, you must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and Amazon policies applicable to those products and product listings.

Amazon’s policies require that small kitchen appliances sold through the Amazon website meet the testing requirements as per specified standards. In order to sell these products on Amazon, you must apply and submit the following to

  • Company name
  • Seller ID
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • A list of small kitchen appliances ASINs that you are applying to sell
  • Image of the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) label marked on the product along with compliance to the requirements listed in AS/NZS 4417.1 and AS/NZS 4417.2

Product Certification requirement

Small kitchen appliances shall comply with any one of the following:

  • Registration of the model in the EESS registration database; or
  • Electrical approval certificate as registered on the EESS registration database; or
  • Documentation from an accredited testing laboratory or organisation confirming that the product has been tested and complies as per the following
    • Blender, Juicer, Snow cone, and Processor: AS/NZS 60335.2.14: 2017
    • Coffee maker, Slow cooker, Pressure cooker, Chocolate fondue, and Electric kettle: AS/NZS 60335.2.15
    • Air fryer, Toaster, Electric pan: AS/NZS 60335.2.13: 2017
    • Microwave oven: AS/NZS 60335.2.25: 2011 +A1
    • Countertop griddle, Cookware, Portable stove, Barbeque grill, Countertop burner, and Popcorn maker: AS/NZS 60335.2.9: 2014 +A1
    • Food sealer: AS/NZS 60335.2.45:2012
