Before listing products for fulfilment by Amazon, it is important to know what is suitable for our fulfilment process and what is unsuitable. Make sure that you review the other sections below for additional product requirements and restrictions:
FBA accepts products that are subject to melting between April 30 and October 1 of each calendar year. Any meltable inventory in our fulfilment centres after October 1 is marked as unfulfillable and disposed of. A meltable inventory that arrives at fulfilment centres between September 30 and May 1 is marked as unfulfillable or disposed of.
Products requiring refrigeration, air conditioning, or freezing are prohibited. Perishable products, including but not limited to, fresh meats, fruits, or vegetables, are prohibited. Some supplements (probiotics, for example) may also be restricted.
Products in fulfilment centres must be able to withstand a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius for the duration of the product shelf life without adversely affecting product quality.
Box markings must not display storage temperature requirements unless those requirements are explicitly stated as from 10 to 38 degrees Celsius.
Removal orders for heat-sensitive products inventory must be submitted before November 1 of each calendar year. For more information, see Remove inventory from a fulfilment centre.
